Bell Bistro in Birmingham Formerly Mad Hatter Bistro in downtown Birmingham, Bell Bistro is now open with an American menu of steaks, pasta, burgers and more from chef Gabriel Botezan. The 3,000-square-foot restaurant is the latest from CiceroHospitality Group, which also owns Adelina in downtown Detroit where Botezan is co-executive chef. The name is a nod to the building’s original owner, Samuel Oliver Wylie Bell. The Bell Bistro seats 36 in the main dining room, plus 12at the bar and 30 on the lower level.There’s also a private dining space that holds up to 30.
